URGENT: I need $200 to complete my insulin goal, thank you to everyone else who has donated.

this is a repost bc after my last visit with the doctor and call to my dad’s insurance company I had to raise my goal to cover the supplies (which are wildly expensive).


for the ones of you who don’t know me, my name is Marco. Not long ago I was booted off state health insurance because I make “too much” to have free health insurance. I still have an insurance plan under my father’s name because I am 23, but diabetes supplies and insulin are still impossible for me to afford while paying all of my bills and taking care of my pets. I have recently paid for insulin for myself but I am running out of supplies and my 24 hour tresiba insulin. I have type 1 diabetes and will not be able to survive without my supplies or my medication. With any help and support I will buy my diabetic supplies as needed and try to collect together enough support to advocate for my supplies to be at a lower cost. I make minimum wage and I cannot afford this on my own. Any kind of support is welcome and if you cannot donate please share this. Thank you.

Urgent! please help my trans sibling get mobility aids!

tldr; my sibling has the same disability as me, and requires a wheelchair with scooter attachment to be able to move freely. their condition has worsened where they can’t wheel themselves manually.

My mom, who’s currently homeless, is about to loose her storage unit if she can’t give them $300 by Monday. Currently she’s working as much as she physically can but she just doesn’t have it. I’m also super broke but can’t take on that much work. In case you’re wondering how my day is going, I’m in danger of my car being repossessed if I don’t come up with $771.45 just to become current – the September bill will still be due on the 12th, which makes the actual amount more like 1,171.45 + the 227.12 for the car insurance due on 8/23.

So I functionally need 1,400.

For context, my car is the only transportation my household of four disabled queers has. Most importantly, it’s how @natalieironside gets to her night job to pay the rest of our bills like rent and electricity.

Hey folks, this is the car that gets my entire household around town, plus the folks we give rides to because they don’t have their own car right now.
